Orthodoxy, a way of life, is known for its experiential approach to faith and doctrine. Rooted in the Bible, its faith and doctrine is enriched by the living commentaries of the lives of the saints of the past and the present. It is enriched by the theological speculations of the Fathers and Teachers of the Church, and by the decrees of the various councils which dealt with doctrinal aberrations (heresies). As an introduction to the Doctrine of the Orthodox Church, we will deal with the Tradition of the Church and the Holy Bible, part of this tradition, as the source of our Christian faith and doctrine.

The Orthodox Church traces its history back to the first century Church in Jerusalem, founded by our Lord Jesus Christ Himself. The Church is fully conscious of this history. Actually, she celebrates it, marking important events in her history throughout the year with special celebrations. Also, the Church is aware of the Historical Christian truths that form the essential fabric and common heritage that belongs to all Christians of all ages in all ages.

We are a parish of all ages, of those born into Orthodox Christian families and those newer to the Faith. We are located across the Chronicle Pavilion in Concord, at 1955 Kirker Pass Road. Visitors heartily welcome!
